T.G.I.F. Volunteer Recognition Idea #2

Have fabulous volunteers? Struggling to find fun, yet affordable ways to reward them for their service to your organization? Find inspiration in our weekly T.G.I.F. idea.  Each Friday, we will highlight creative ideas for a Theme, Gift, Invitation, and Food plan that make for a perfect volunteer recognition event.  Let A Creative Touch inspire your creativity with promotional product ideas that show appreciation to your volunteers!

act-custom-mmsT.= Theme: The Sweet Rewards of Volunteering!

G.=Gifts: Customized M&M’s are always a crowd pleaser! These 1-ounce custom bags come with a full color imprint and up to 3 candy colors.  You can have your custom logo or message on the candies.  Attach a note that says “Thanks for being a Magnificent & Marvelous Volunteer!”

I.= Invites/Décor: Choose sweet shades for this party.  Pick bright invitation colors for a Wonka-fantasy feeling. Make fabulous round invitations that look like lollipops out of scrapbook paper and lollipop sticks. Select a color scheme for decorations that coordinates with your food items: chocolate and vanilla, if you’re serving ice cream, or shades to match your candy items. Colorful balloons, paper lanterns, and even playful piñatas can add a Candyland atmosphere.

F.=Food/Refreshments: Indulge your volunteers’ sugar-sweet cravings with a candy buffet complete with candy, cupcakes, or ice cream.  Arrange these fun treats in batches of several types, like bowls of M&Ms, trays of cupcakes, or dishes of GummyBears. A  colorful “dessert bar” will delight the inner child in all your volunteers. Serve punch to highlight the sweet theme.
