T.G.I.F. Volunteer Recognition Idea #4

Have fabulous volunteers? Struggling to find fun, yet affordable ways to reward them for their service to your organization? Find inspiration in our weekly T.G.I.F. idea. Each Friday, we will highlight creative ideas for a Theme, Gift, Invitation, and Food plan that make for a perfect volunteer recognition event. Let A Creative Touch inspire your creativity with promotional product ideas that show appreciation to your volunteers!

act-soup-mugT.=Theme: Volunteers are Mmm, Mmm Good!

G.=Gifts: A 16 oz.soup mug and spoon set that can be customized with your organization’s logo; it’s a gift that will warm their tummies and their hearts, reminding them that you think they are soup-er!

I.=Invites/D√©cor: Create a “soup can” invitation–use a safety can opener to open a soup can, then rinse it out and let it dry.¬† Insert your invitation and glue the lid back on.¬†¬†Your volunteers will¬†have to open the can to get all of the details!¬† You can also use empty soup cans as vases for groupings of small floral table arrangements.¬†¬† Incorporate Andy Warhol-inspired drawings of soup cans or use the warhol app to transform volunteer photos into pop art!

F.=Food/Refreshments: A soup themed gift calls for a warm and cozy soup bar.¬† Choose a selection of soups–tomato, mushroom, and broccoli cheddar are a few good choices–and arrange them so your volunteers can sample soup and soup fixings like croutons, bacon bits,¬†tortilla strips, sour cream and cheese. Add salad, bread, or sandwiches for a nifty deluxe buffet.
